Test your skills at Deep Creek Lake’s Axe Throwing arena!  Participate in either an “Axpert”-Led Session or an Open Session depending on your groups needs.  Enjoy our onsite bar while visiting!

Price

“Axpert”-Led Session: $40 per person
1.5 – 3.5 hours depending on group size, 30 minutes of instruction with an axpert, the they will lead you through an axe throwing tournament session. Recommended for bigger groups and beginners. Must wear a mask.

Open Session: $35 per person
1 hour of throwing, no instruction other than the safety briefing

Friday is Locals Night:
Must present Garrett County driver’s license
Open Session: $15 per person
“Axpert”-Led Session $25 per person

Summer Hours (Memorial Day Weekend-Labor Day Weekend):
Monday – Thursday: 11am – 6pm
Friday – Saturday: 11am – 9pm
Sunday: 11am – 6pm

Off-Season Hours (Sept-May):
Monday – Friday: Closed
Saturday: 11am – 9pm
Sunday: 11am – 6pm

Duration
Open session: 1 hour
“Axpert”-Led Session: 1.5 hours to 3.5 hours depending on group size. If you don’t fill the capacity you may have others in your group throwing with you…the more the merrier!

Participation Requirements
Minimum age is 8 years old.  Participants must be physically able to lift and throw and axe in a safe manner; this is especially true for the little guys and gals.
What To Wear
Casual clothing with a shirt which gives you a full range of motion.
Footwear
Participants must wear closed-toe shoes.
